UIER offers 8 fields of study.
More than 48 faculty members serve the students of UIER through
both their teaching and research efforts.

Academic Programs

Since 1993 academic year UIER Academic program has been improved and adopted to Academic Program of the USA University. UIER involvement and participation in the USARMX program provided to implement this transition. UIER offers the following Academic Programs:

  • Accounting and Audit / duration of the courses is 4 years, ways of education - daytime and individual schedule
  • Finances and Credits / duration of the courses is 4 years, ways of education - daytime and individual schedule
  • Law / duration of the courses is 4 years, ways of education - daytime and individual schedule
  • Computer Engineering / duration of the courses is 5 years, ways of education - daytime and individual schedule

    Branches

    University is located at the Down Town of the city of Yerevan. The building has more than 1500 square meters territory.

    UIER received Copy Rights to translate and publish the following manuals:

    Dominic Salvatore "International economics" In Russian. Published in 1998


    Gregory Mankiw "Macroeconomic Theory" in Armenian, Published in 1997.


    James Houck "Elements of International Trade and Policy Analysis"
    In Russian. Published in 1998.


    Research work

    UIER implements research activities in the following fields:
  • Economics of Migration
  • Migration Law
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Programming

    Participation in the International Programs:

  • Swiss National Scientific Fund (SCOPES)
  • International Scientific Technical Center (ISTC)
  • United States Information Agency (USIA)



    University won grants and scholarships for the following scientific research works:

    1. USARME Economic Scholarly Exchange program grant from USA informational agency.
    2. Swiss Scopes fund "International Migration - Labour market" grant.
    3. ISTC International scientific research centre grant.



    University Library - Informational systems

    Library is provided with modern speciality literature (books, manuals) in Armenian, in Russian and other languages.


    Publishing Activities

    "Femida" weekly is being constantly published in the University since 1997.
