Glasgow College of Nautical Studies , Glasgow , UK Duration: 2 - 4 weeks Age: 10 - 17 Glasgow combines the energy and sophistication of a great international city with some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery. Glasgow College of Nautical Studies is situated in the centre of Glasgow on the south bank of the River Clyde. Imperial College London, London, UK Established in 1907, Imperial College is one of the world's leading institutions in the teaching and research of science, technology and medicine. Our course is based on the South Kensington site, one of London 's finest locations, close to many famous landmarks. This new centre represents a fourth London option for Study Holidays students.The Choice course is similar to the classic course but includes fewer excursions and is only available to groups looking for a less inclusive programme. London School of Economics (Bankside), London , UK Duration: 2 - 4 weeks Age: 13 – 17 Bankside House is the largest residence of the London School of Economics, and is located south of the River Thames, adjacent to the Tate Gallery of Modern Art, near Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and many Millennium sites. Lessons take place in the mornings or the afternoons on alternate weeks. The Bankside Choice programme includes two escorted walks around London (entrance fees and transport costs are not included in the price) and one full-day excursion per week. A programme of activities is organised on some evenings. On other evenings, Group Leaders are responsible for taking their group into London .
Roehampton University , London , UK Duration: 2 - 4 weeks Age: 13 – 17 Roehampton is a residential suburb of south-west London surrounded by beautiful parkland and open spaces. Wantage Hall in Upper Redlands Road , is a short walk from the main campus and a mile from the town centre. Founded in 1908, it is a fine example of traditional college building. Swansea University, Swansea, UK Duration: 2, 3 and 4 weeks Age: 10 - 17 Swansea is an exciting city and a stylish start to five miles of beautiful coastline. Swansea University is located in a parkland Campus with a spectacular location on Swansea Bay . The beach is just opposite the University and there is a footbridge to reach it. From the University there are magnificent views over the bay and as far as Devon . The centre also has superb sports facilities including an Olympic-standard swimming pool.
Bearwood College , Wokingham , UK Wokingham is a historic market town with origins dating back to Saxon times. The town's history, until recent times, was based largely on agriculture. The University of San Diego, San Diego, USA Duration: 2 - 3 weeks Age: 15 - 18 The University of San Diego is over 60 years old and has a long history of providing excellent education in California. Located close to the Californian coast-line, San Diego is a vibrant yet safe city only 2 hours from Los Angeles . Students can enjoy a 6 day “Best of California” trip, including famous sights such as San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Santa Monica . A full programme is offered. This includes one full day excursion per week to exciting attractions such as Universal Studios, Disneyland and San Diego. Tufts University , Boston , USA Duration: 2 – 4 weeks Age: 15 – 18 The summer programme offers comprehensive curriculum including visits to all the attractions of Boston every afternoon or use of the sports facilities. There are also evening visits to the city centre as well as activities on campus. All transport costs and entrance fees are included in the programme. In addition to the included excursions, it is possible to book a weekend in New York.
