The Armenian Association for Academic Partnership and Support – ARMACAD announces that an anonymous benefactor will commit a prize of $1,000 + all expenses paid to a scholar (preferably a citizen of the Republic of Armenia), who can present a paper about Armenian Buildings-Edifices-Monuments that have been torn down or are still extant in the Armenian Lands incorporated into the present day territory of the Republic of Turkey at the “Architectural History Conference” in Turkey, October 20-22, 2010, METU Cultural and Convention Center ( http://armenian- studies.blogspot .com/2010/ 02/armenianstudi es-fw-architectu ral.html , http://www.efn. org/~acd/ archie.html , http://www.worldarc hitecture. org/news/ ?position= comments&up=1483 ).
To be eligible for this grant you should personally apply to this conference and receive an official invitation to participate. If more than one Paper is accepted about the Armenian Architectural Heritage, then the benefactor will agree to compensate the application fees of all those who got the acceptance since there shall be only one prize winner.
The paper presented at the conference must be published at an academic NON-Armenian journal within one year after being presented at the conference.
